The DA 26 Series has been developed for safety critical applications. Highest reliability under harsh environmental conditions was our engineers'
main concern - accordingly contactless position sensor and wearfree brushless motor
technology have been incorporated, maximizing life time and efficiency, reducing noise and electromagnetic emissions (EMI).
The case is CNC machined from salt water resistant Aluminum alloy and complies with IP-67 standard for water/dust
resistance. It has an integrated DB9-connector system. The case design offers a multifunctional
fixation scheme with additional lug mounts for an optional mounting system.
The robust all steel gear set is supported by 6 ball bearings. The standard output shaft has a ANSI spline (optional square shaped output shaft on
request).

The fully programmable DA 26 electronic circuit board has an implemented safeguard against
thermal/ current overload, reverse polarity and comes with an integrated position feedback.
The DA 26 in it's standard version ( # 26.30.5024-1) features two different PWM command input interfaces: A differential,
opto-coupler based interface and a traditional, single-ended CMOS interface, which is also used to program the DA 26
circuit board.
DA 26 actuators have been bench tested for more than 5 million cycles ( >3.000 hours ) pulling a tension spring balance from no load at neutral
position to specified 250 Ncm / 350 oz.in. load on either side of its +/- 45° travel angle.
