We started our business activities in 1979 developing and manufacturing all moulded hollow composite airframes. The expertise we gained working in this market enables us to better understand our customers who often use similar technologies to manufacture their weight and efficiency optimized products, regardless whether these are robots, medical devices, UAVs or others.

1983 Volz Servos was founded for designing and marketing electro mechanical actuators worldwide.

Whilst the first years had been dedicated to the development of servos for the RC hobby market, our innovations in performance, durability and compact design quickly drew the attention of the industrial actuators market.

This has been achieved by meeting our customers' demands of maximizing torque and speed, efficiency, reliability and durability and at the same time minimizing volume/weight, component and development costs - making Volz actuators an excellent choice - second to none.
